Litigation & Fraud Analytics
When the analysis has to survive cross-examination, you want a glass-box method and a team that lives in claims, EHR, and operational data. We build defensible, reproducible forensic analytics for healthcare litigation and fraud matters, delivered under privilege, at the direction of counsel.
Request a capability briefingBuilt for the moment the method is challenged
Generalist forensic-accounting and eDiscovery shops are staffing up on healthcare data for the first time. We work in it every day.
Defensible by design
Documented methodology, within-dataset calibration, principled carve-outs, and explicit false-positive validation. Defensibility is the product, engineered to withstand a Daubert challenge.
Glass-box, not black-box
The model reads and extracts; the decisions run as deterministic, versioned code. Every flag traces back to a specific rule, not a probabilistic guess an expert cannot defend.
Healthcare-native data fluency
Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial claims, EHR-derived data, operational and geospatial data, and the code systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, MS-DRG). The decisive wedge over generalists.
Forensic analytics, end to end
- Multi-signal anomaly and fraud detection over large-scale claims, operational, and geospatial data.
- Statistical sampling and extrapolation analysis, including rebuttals of government and payer extrapolations.
- Damages and overpayment modeling, and risk-tiering of large provider or claim populations.
- Reproducible methodology memorialized separately, with false-positive validation built in.
Matter types include False Claims Act and qui tam, Anti-Kickback and Stark, program-integrity audits (ZPIC, UPIC, RAC), and government investigations, on both the defense and plaintiff side.
How we work under privilege
- Engaged at the direction of counsel under a Kovel structure, as attorney work product.
- Privilege-grade, encrypted environments with chain-of-custody and preservation-ready handling.
- A named, credentialed analytics lead and a privilege-compliant data team, with a contracted statistician and data scientist available for testifying-expert work when a matter requires it.
- Non-contingent fees, structured to preserve admissibility.
On confidentiality
We do not publish matters, parties, outcomes, or testimonials. Engagement specifics are shared only with counsel, under an appropriate confidentiality agreement, in a capability briefing. The work product on any matter belongs to the client and is controlled by counsel.
